Birds and Nature

The Vermont countryside is particularly colorful in spring and summer. The many varieties of wildflowers always provide an interesting and colorful subject to photograph. Yellow, White and Showy Lady’s Slippers are intriguing and delicate. With the arrival of May flowers also come the orioles, the brilliant orange beauties of spring. Throughout the summer, attempting to capture the rapid hummingbirds keeps me busy and demands stealth techniques as well as lots of patience!
