I fell in love with Maine when I was stationed there as a Navy nurse. I grew up in Rhode Island, and have always felt a special connection with the ocean. I have always felt that walking the many shorelines of the East and West coasts was a magical experience. Despite the fact that I have settled in a “landlocked” state, I feel fortunate to be close enough to the Maine coast to escape there frequently.
