This adult Bald Eagle was observed January 27th flying to the nest with sticks and twigs to begin the process of readying the nest for the mating season. Bald Eagles generally will mate and lay their eggs ( usually 2 eggs) in March. There is a 35 day gestation period with the young hatching in April. This nest is on the Connecticut River in Plainfield, NH.
