Canaan Street Lake in Canaan, NH is beautiful and still at dawn.  When I arrived to find the loons and their new chicks, the fog was still fairly dense.  As it lifted slowly I found the Loon family.....2 sweet babies , looking to be around 2 weeks old.  Adorable and so much fun to watch.  In this photo the adult loon is offering a fish that both "kids" are interested in devouring.  During this sequence of shots, there were times when each chick had hold of it, then both grabbed it and finally one ate it......the parents seemsed to fish constantly for these little guys.....it always is such a pleasure to watch.
