I spotted this sandpiper in a flooded field in Canaan, NH.  We had experienced an April Nor'easter and flooding was a major problem for weeks.  However, it did provide lots of migrating birds and waterfowl plenty of options for  food and fun.  I believe that this particular sandpiper is a Greater Yellow legs, based on the distinctive brown barring on the flanks.
