I watched as the adult loons floated quietly with the day old chicks riding on nature's "feather bed".  I could see one of the chicks  with his tiny beak in the water, and I assumed he was playing with the adult loons feathers.  It wasn't until I got home and looked at my photos in the computer that I saw the small fish on the back of the loon.  The tiny chick had pulled this fish from the pond and was snuggled up to it like a toy in the bed of a toddler.....it was adorable....I couldn't resist the name I chose for the photo...:)
