This Sharp-shinned Hawk has taken a liking to my many birdfeeders and has begun hunting on a daily basis.  Luckily for my birds, he is not very good at the sport of feeding on my sweet little birds. ( I hate to admit it but I sort of wished he could grab a few of my MANY red-squirrels!).  The colorful background is the waning fall foliage, which was fantastic in Vermont and NH this year.
