The nesting pair of Bald Eagles are relatively new to our area.  They have produced young for  2 years running.  The nest in Orford, NH sits in a  pine directly along the CT river.....photographing them from the kayak was fun and  somewhat challenging....battling current  and drift.....it was such fun watching the show as they flew in and out of the nest with food for the 2 eagle chicks...the chicks are now just visible above the rim of the nest.
