The deer visit my 14 acre property in Vermont every day. Often they will graze on the long grass and clover and then settle in for a rest in the far edge of the pasture. On this evening, as I snapped the picture of the young buck nestled in the long grass, a bluejay caught his eye and flew into the picture just as I pressed the shutter.
