I was thrilled to stumble upon this very new fawn in the woods on  my property.  She lay absolutely still, attempting to blend into the surrounding dead leaves and forest floor.  She was so tiny and frail appearing.  I loved how her white spots seemed almost as big as the fawn herself.  I worried all night until I saw that the Doe had returned to retrieve her youngster.  It was a wonderful exerience observing such a tiny and sweet visitor....a wildlife photographer's dream come true.
