I took this photo in the very early morning hours on Grafton Pond.  The new chick was barely 4 days old.  I enjoy wtching the adult loons  bring small fish or water bugs to the new chick to eat.  The patience of the adult loon as they repeatedly drop and retrieve the food source, trying to teach the chick to grab the "meal" underwater.
